403 N Saginaw Street Durand MI 48429 (989)288-6684

About

Formed by 13 founding members in 1896, First Congregational Church has been part of the Durand, Michigan community for over a century. We have gathered in our present building at the point of Saginaw and Washtenaw streets since 1898 and continue to worship every Sunday at 10am, spread the Gospel, and live according to the teachings of Jesus Christ as best we can in the power of the Holy Spirit. If you live in or around Durand there is a good chance you already know some of us through work, school, or community activities.

As a Congregational church, FCC recognizes Jesus Christ as our leader and is therefore not under the authority of a denomination, minister, or board. We pray, look to the Bible, and seek consensus in our decision making and every member has a voice and a vote. In general, FCC has the same orthodox beliefs as nearly all Christian churches.

We invite you to worship with us on Sunday and follow any of the links below to learn more about us.
