First Congregational Church has been part of the Durand community since 1896. We consider it our privilege and obligation to be good neighbors by contributing to our community and participating in various events as we are able. By engaging with our friends and neighbors we seek to represent Jesus Christ by following his example and applying his teachings to, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength [and] Love your neighbor as yourself" (Mark 12:30-31).
