ANNUAL MEETING
     The 129th Annual Meeting of First Congregational Church will be held Sunday, January 26, 2025 following the Worship Celebration. NOTE: Annual Reports from all officers, boards, and committees must be submitted by January 20. Please email them to the Church Secretary at: fcccauthen1@gmail.com.

POTLUCK DINNER
     FCC invites everyone to a Potluck Dinner following the Annual Meeting on January 26, 2025. The church will supply the meat for the meal and we ask everyone else to bring a side dish and desert to share. Plan on joining us!

ATTENTION LADIES!
     “The Good and Beautiful Bible Study,” a five-week study for ladies, begins March 11, 2025. The group will meet at 7:00pm in the church building. A sign-up sheet is on the Literature Table. Scholarships are available to cover the cost of materials. All ladies are welcome!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
     FCC is always looking for volunteers to facilitate worship on Sundays. We need liturgists, ushers, acolytes, and people to run the computer and camera each week. If you can help, please sign up at the Literature Table in the back of the Sanctuary.

PRAYER
Prayer Chain: To submit praises and prayer requests text Pastor Steve (810-624-2418).
Prayer Space: We invite everyone to use our Prayer Space for prayer and meditation before, during, and after Worship, as well as any time throughout the week.

LITERATURE TABLE
     Stop by our Literature Table at the back of the Sanctuary before you leave today. It is full of useful printed materials. You can pick up a copy of our 2025 Church Calendar, the “Through the Bible” reading guide, or the latest issue of “Our Daily Bread, just to name a few. Take all you will use!

MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES
One Item a Month: FCC’s One-Item-a-Month for January is CANNED SOUP. Please leave soup and any other non-perishable items at the back of the Sanctuary throughout the month. They will be delivered to our friends at Loaves & Fishes for distribution to those in need. Financial donations should be marked, “Loaves & Fishes.”
Missions Jug: The jug on the Literature Table is intended to collect change for “Loaves & Fishes” to purchase groceries for those in need.
